Therapeutic sessions

We support people with disabilities so that they can live life on their own terms and decide their own future.

We offer therapeutic sessions designed to support the comprehensive development of individuals with intellectual disabilities and those on the autism spectrum. This program is available to both children and adults.

The therapeutic sessions provided by the Arkadia Foundation support the development of children and adults with intellectual disabilities, as well as individuals on the autism spectrum. Through both individual and group therapy, participants develop their independence, communication, social skills, and daily living abilities. This specialized support helps them discover their potential and enhances their active engagement in life.

What do we offer?

We offer individual psychopedagogical therapy, covering areas such as sensory integration, communication skills training, cognitive skills training, social skills training, and psychological support. This support is provided by professionals including speech therapists, educators, psychologists, psychotherapists, and sensory integration therapists. In addition, participants may also receive support from a physiotherapist. Individual sessions take place at the participants’ homes or at the Foundation’s premises on Jęczmienna Street in Toruń.

What do the classes cover?

Group sessions include the following options:

Adventure therapy
Group psycho-pedagogical therapy focused on social skills
Group psycho-pedagogical therapy focused on daily living skills
Group psycho-pedagogical therapy focused on active leisure time
Workshops for parents/caregivers

Group activities take place either at the Foundation’s premises or off-site.

These activities are carried out as part of the „Discovering Potential – 2025” project, co-financed by the State Fund for Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons (PFRON).
